Breathable insulation allows a fully insulated building to release surplus moisture vapour out of the roof and into the air. This keeps the structure secure and dry and prevents any issues with dampness and mould. The Breathable Insulation we have available are YBS BreatherQuilt, EcoLoft Non-Itch, and BreatherFoil FR. YBS BreatherQuilt is a breathable roofing membrane that allows excess moisture to escape the roofing rafters. EcoLoft Non-Itch is designed to insulate between rafters and joists in a loft space and has been manufactured from 100% recycled plastic. Breathable FR creates a wind and draught-free seal and helps protect the walls and timber frame of a timber frame building whilst in construction.
